The artist Maria Lai is certainly the person who has best been able, drawing inspiration from her native land, to create a new world, an infinity of images and shapes that have made her famous and, and the same time, have reinforced her bonds with her birthplace. The Museum, managed by the Fondazione Stazione dell'Arte, holds biannual exhibitions of sculpture, painting and poetry: Maria Lai's dreams have a home. Housed in the old railway station, the dream of an artist becomes reality, a place for meeting people or simply walking among works of art and artists. "The Stazione dell'Arte isn't just the place where the many works of art donated by Maria Lai are displayed but is also a meeting place, a place to introduce young people to art".
